Those of you who are unfamiliar with the Ajarimochi, it's basically the best manju money can ever buy; it's very similar to a dorayaki except the outer layer isn't as much as doughy and floury as it is unbelievably chewy, soft, and moist all at the same time. The inside of the Ajarimochi is filled with rich, creamy tsubuan made from Tanba dainagon azuki beans that provides a tame amount of sweetness that even those with the greatest of aversions to anything sweet can enjoy and savor--the best part is that everything is freshly made with no preservatives so each and every delicately wrapped Ajarimochi tastes like it was brought to you straight out of the oven.
