Donegal fiddle at Oireachtas

　先日、エラハタス生中継 のことを書きましたが、IRTRAD-L でもガロード（ギャロード）・ムーニー（Gearoid Mooney）が書いています。これは、ドネゴール・フィドル・ファンにとっては本当に一生に一度もんの機会になりそうです。ああ、行きたい。

Subject: Oireachtas Senior Fiddle - A Concert

Friends - Just to let you know about a concert to be held in An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny on October 26th and 27th as part of Oireachtas na Gaeilge.

As most of you know - the Oireachtas senior fiddle competition is one of the oldest ITM competitions extant. This year, for the first time, because it is in Donegal - all the living winners (living in Donegal/playing Donegal style) of the competition are giving a concert - the list of performers is:
Tommy Peoples, Ciaran O Maonaigh, Dermot McLaughlin, Seamus Maguire,John the Tae Gallagher, Seamus Gibson, Brid Harper and Frank Kelly.

Johnny Doherty and Jimmy McBride were also winners of this competition - and they will be remembered.
